you can stretch your foreskin with your fingers and a glansie in combination with topical steroids and loosen your foreskin in a month or two.

It sounds like you have a case of phimosis, a condition where the foreskin's a bit too tight to pull back easily and comfortably to expose the entire glans (penis head) during an erection. If you don't want to get circumcised, then there are still options you can look into. There are things you can do to "fix" this on your own. The first thing you should try are called stretching exercises. See links 1 and 2 for good detailed instructions on what to do. It's best to do these exercises after a bath/shower when the skin's most flexible. Do these exercises for 10-20 minutes every day for 2-3 months or so. Over time, your foreskin will loosen up and you'll be able to pull it back easily and comfortably to expose the entire glans. It's important to be diligent about this and do it every day, but don't stretch too hard such that you rip or cause tears in your foreskin, as that'll scar up and make things worse in the long-run. If after 3 months and you see little/no progress, then it's a good idea to ask your doctor for a prescription cream that helps loosen the foreskin (link 3). This cream might be different from the cream you have already, and the prescription one is the one you need. If you combine the cream you doctor then prescribes with the stretching exercises above, the whole process will be quicker and easier. In almost all cases of a tight foreskin the above treatments are all that's necessary. So you can ignore any suggestions or recommendations to get circumcised, as that's just not necessary. Worse comes to worst, there is an alternative surgery that removes little/no foreskin, is cheaper, is less painful, and has a quicker recovery time (link 4). However, not all doctors know or are skilled in this procedure, so it would be important to find a doctor who's both willing and experienced in doing them. See the remaining links for more useful info. Remember, if it hurts then you're pulling too hard. It shouldn't hurt at all, let pain be a stop sign. Best of luck!

If you can pull it back at all, you do NOT need a circumcision, and, believe me, you don't want one! Try just stretching the skin by pulling with your fingers (use lube), but not to the point of pain, just where it starts to feel a bit uncomfortable. In fact, vigorous masturbation might be enough. If it's still tight after a couple of weeks of stretching a few times every day, ask your doctor for a steroid cream to help the process. (If you are in your mid-teens, you may just need to wait for your body to complete puberty.)

Some doctors really push circumcision, as it's a big money-maker. If your doctor says you need circumcision, RUN to another doctor! Circumcision will decrease your sexual satisfaction for the rest of your life. You are very lucky your parents resisted the pressure to mutilate you when you were born.

First of all, is it even tight?

Sometimes a foreskin has difficulty sliding back if it has not been normally slid back before. If that is so, just slide it back to wash it in the shower and it'll slowly slide more and more.

If it's tight, stretch it by pulling it back or forward or to the side. It'll eventually loosen up slowly. Mine was tight and after I got it less tight (now it glides perfectly) I have had no other complaints. So give it a try. :)

sometimes a doctor can just put a slit in the underside of the foreskin and releave the tightness.

You could try stretching it, but at the end of the day I think surgery is probably the best option.
