Well, I havn't heard but apparently there no longer happy with Delhomme. So perhaps a quality QB, If Quinn drops that far in the draft (I doubt it) they may pick him up.

Most experts agree that the Panthers cannot resist the possibility of adding an explosive TE to the team. If that is the case, they will draft Greg Olsen of Miami with the 14th overall pick. Olsen has all of the tools to succeed in the NFL, good hands, blocking technique, size and strength. He is the highest rated TE in the draft and no other team has a greater need than the Panthers.

I think the talent drop off for safeties is greater than that for linebackers. I think after the combine, one of the top two safeties (Landry and Reggie Nelson) will fall out of the top 10. I think they draft the one who falls to them at 14. I think Atlanta is really the only team ahead of us with a real need at safety that high in the draft. If both safeties are gone, I think they trade down and maybe grab Levi Brown. The panthers' o-line took a lot of injuries last season, and he might be on their radar if Landry and Nelson are off the board. I agree that with Morgan's concussions, the panthers need depth at linebacker. I think they have a bigger need at safety or O-line as far as the first round. I really like H.B. Blades, the LB from Pitt. I think Willis and Poz will go in the first round, so maybe Blades will be there when the Panthers pick in the 2nd round. I am almost certain that the first three picks for the panthers will be S, LB, OL. Which order they fall in really comes down to who's left on the board. I think we will have a better idea after the combine. I'm sure someone from a school you've never heard of will see their stock shoot right through the roof in Indianapolis, ala Demarcus Ware a couple of years ago.

Laron Landry, safety out of LSU. Also a middle linebacker is a concern as long as injury prone Dan Morgan is around. I wouldn't be surprised to see thePanthers trade down.
