Well, you can start easy at www.freewebs.com. It has a beginner's setup where it is all programmed for you depending on what you want on your page. They also have advanced options for free-lance web design.

There are many site which help u in creating aweb page
But, if u really want it to create on ur own.. then begin with HTML, Javascript/VBScript etc.. go to CGI, Perl etc.. & flash, dreamweaver etc & know abt applets..
U r now a very good proffessional wb designer... if u get all these & much more like this tools expertised.
