Yes of course.the batteries will be finished.However bluetooth just works on d batteries consuming a lot of energy from the batteries.so it'll b gud if u switch off the bluetooth devices and hence savin d battery life.

Batteries drain no matter what. If they're not in use, they will not lose as much power because they aren't transmitting to a reciever. Electricity always passes through batteries in miniscule ammounts, though, so it's destined to drain.

I doubt it! Most mouses or mice(whichever pronunciation is correct) go into idle mode when not used and use very little battery current.
