If your depression has been ongoing for months, its time that you seek a counsellor. Depression can affect your physical health in the long run. However, if you still insist on not seeking counselling or therapy, you should get a close companion who you really trust. Make sure that companion of yours has a good heart and good listening skills. You have to express your emotions during that session with your companion. In that way, you will not only feel better but you will find your way out of depression. How? Well, when you express more, you will begin to realise the root of the problem. With much clearer view, you will realise more path to choose. Decide what benefits you. Its an individual experience, meaning that depression itself is a unique experience. Your way out of depression won't be the same as another individual. Other than that, try to stick with good friends, treat yourself with things you had longed for. Be stronger. Make new goals. If the root of your depression is situation-based, I'm sure you can make it although it takes time. But if it's not based on a past tragedy or unpleasant experience, it's got to be biological. In that case, you have no choice but seek a doctor.

i think you should think about what makes you depressed. think about what makes you angry, upset.
then, think about all the little things that make you happy, the smell of the air just before it rains, unless you live deep in a city where just before it rains it smell like rotten fish.
since you have internet access, find jokes and humour comics and read them. laugh a lot, frequently and very often. or is that all the same thing? anywoay, i reccomend www.pointlesswasteoftime.com. they cheer me up anytime i get down.
just try to look at it like every cloud has a silver lining and not every silver lining has a cloud.
see your glass as half full not half empty
after all, you are al lot better off than a lot of people. hope you get better, love.

you need to love yourself. no one that will talk to you can make you better unless you want it. that therapist didnt help it was YOU that stopped yourself... wake up and smell the coffee... people around the world witha strong will stop drug use even. I think you can do much better things with your time then do something so selfish and retarded...get a hobby.
