not on the court... stern banned that. plus its too much of a liability to have a huge rock on your ear that could easily cut somebody. off the court, why not?! most players have em... even the ones you wouldnt think would... like dirk nowitzki! haha =)

The players can't wear earrings while they are playing on the court. The reason is because they might get it ripped out of their ear on a foul or something, or it could cut them or someone else, etc. , so it's for safety reasons. Lots of NBA players do have their ears pierced though, and do wear earrings when they aren't on the court playing.

Not on the court. Before or after a game, I think so. I don't know that the league's dress code says about earrings but I think that they're allowed. But on the court, no way.

Not on the court. But you can off the court. Lebron James and Tracey McGrady, for example, wear earrings. You can't wear them on court because of the possible injuries and everything.

If you just got a new earring you have to put tape over it. Other wises it is illegal because it could harm someone else when you get a rebound or go for a loose ball.

Not when you are playing. Because if you did it, you don't follow the proper NBA dress code and it sometimes caused injuries.
