I am sure there are studies on he pluses and minuses of having an open marriage. Personally, I am not comfortable with it. In that sense I guess I am old fashioned guy, but I don't feel any shame in it. It's just me. I do believe however, that some people are so open minded that their brains fall out.

The merits are plenty, more fun, more friends, more enjoyment.
The demerits are also substantial, sometimes relations break. One partner, may not like his love to be used by so many people.

merits... : free of mind, happiness, more love, no inhibitions...more understanding...
I was 100% open to my wife...
demerites... : while quarellign with her.. those things may come in between...
