I am sure there are studies on he pluses and minuses of having an open marriage. Personally, I am not comfortable with it. In that sense I guess I am old fashioned guy, but I don't feel any shame in it. It's just me. I do believe however, that some people are so open minded that their brains fall out.

The merits are plenty, more fun, more friends, more enjoyment.
The demerits are also substantial, sometimes relations break. One partner, may not like his love to be used by so many people.

Upside - Variety, fantasy fulfillment
Downside - STD's, the possibility of jealousy

If iam a part of their scheme of things, then the merits are plenty fr me! but, unfortunately it has bn only demerits! no one has yet approached me fr some ' NO STRINGS ATTACHED' fun! hahahaha

I was 100% open to my wife...
demerites... : while quarellign with her.. those things may come in between...

The one who suggested it is will gain the satisfaction of having their cake and get it eatin too, if you know what I mean (lol)
Where the other will grind at a slow pace and find themselves in a no win situation.
