most of the girls in my group of friends have been rape victems. Others have come close. I'm the only guy of my friends that I know has been raped. Only 1 guy in my group knows about that though just cause he's my best bud.
Anyways why is it that I seem to unconsciously become friends with these people?
(Note: reason this is coming up is because I discovered another one that was. I'm sorta annoyed that I continually find out this stuff while dealing with their current drama.)

these rapes all happened when they were younger. No, these girls are in no way drama queens. Hell, I got a best bud thats the drama king of real drama. and my friends I choose are trustworthy. Mostly they either tell the truth or stay quiet.

hey man me too. a lot of my girl friends have been taken advantage of, even some of the boys.. keep in mind there are a lot of sick bastard out there these days. people tend to gravitate to whoever feels safe after going through any kind of sexual trauma.
i was molested when i was fifteen- given i broke the guys nose and got away before he got the chance to actually rape me, but still, afterwards for a bit i was pretty much paranoid and refused to hang out with most of my vague male friends, i would only chill with the ones i knew well and trusted.
so feel honored- these women trust you. it's good that you're there for them. by the way i'm sorry for what happened to you, but three out of my four best friends are also victims of sexual assault and two of them are male. so rest assured you're not alone sweetie. stay strong and just try to listen to them as they tell you their stories. peace <3

Just out of curiosity--are these REAL rapes or are they drama queens looking for attention?? Seems like a lot of stress for you--sorry, but they may have seen how much attention the stories can get---so they make a story up for themselves. If that many rapes occur by you, where are the cops???

Maybe it is a subconscious bonding thing. You feel a connection to them, however it is interesting that you didn't find out until later. Maybe your mind can read people better than you know.

...Maybe they find it easy to be friends with you.. They may not know you also are a victim but you understand them in a way that no one else can and it gives them great support.. xx.

You are too nice for your own good, and have no healthy boundaries. You let people walk on you, and these women will suck the life out of you and despise you for letting them do it. They will transfer their hurt onto you because you really are a safe person. Start saying no, and looking out for yourself. Best of luck.
