first-prioritize, when is it due and how important is my grade?
second -figure out what you study best when for example you do best at math in the morning but english in the afternoon
third- make a place with no distractions and always do your homework there
fourth- eat good sleep good drink enough (good fluids not beer lol)
fifth- give yourself rewards when you do good

First, you have to make sure you've eaten something that can help. I may be struck down by lightning for saying this, but sugar and fat can help.
If you have reading to do, read aloud to yourself (you only have to whisper or speak in a very low voice). Rather than expecting to get information in through your eyes (seeing the words), use your ears to listen to the words you are reading aloud. When you have trouble concentrating it is easier (at least for me) to listen to information and take it in than to read it and take it in.
Break down all projects/work into several very small and simple tasks. Do one, and if you can, do another, and another. Take a break, do a few other things, and then come back and tell yourself, "I'm just going to do x, y and z right now." Do those, and if you feel like doing a couple of more things, do those. Repeat this type of process. You'd be surprised at how much you can done in a couple of hours even if you do get up and do something else here or there.
If it helps, once you break down the projects into small tasks, make a list and cross off each one as it gets done.
Also, set a time at which you'll begin doing a few tasks. If you have to sit around and do nothing until that time comes feel free, but keep in mind that at x o'clock or x-twenty you will be doing a couple of those simple tasks. If it helps set an end time as well.

Put on the timer for 15 minutes. Sit & study or do homework for that period of time and ONLY do that work (no playing with pencils, biting cuticles, etc)- focus for that time. When the timer goes off, get up, walk around, pee, whatever. Then do it again. After a week of only 15 minute periods, raise it to 20 minutes the 2nd week and do the same thing. Try to make it to 45 minutes by raising it only 5 minutes each week. Not many of us can sit for more than 45 minutes and give anything COMPLETE attention for longer than that at a time. You need to take breaks. Just make sure you RETURN to the task after your break.

1.Most human beings can concerntrate on someting intensively for 20 mins so read continiously for 20mins then take a SHORT break then come back for a another 20 mins
2. take brief notes as you study;it helpd you keep what you've study in memory.notes also when for that last minute studying you do just before exams
3.or you could take a reorder to class and record your lectures/classes and play them back wen you get home(if you're allowed)
4. study with someone or a group of friends
These are some of the things I tried.....worked too
