It plays short video's but whenever i try to watch an episode of something it doesn't play all the way through, it just stops.

With short videos it goes all the way but when i play long videos such as an episode or something the red loading bar goes about halfway then it sops and the timer shows 0:00

As mentioned before, it's probably because your computer has not buffered the video all the way. Depending on your internet speed and the size of the video, buffer times will vary. The default buffer time for WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, for example, is 20 seconds or the default time recommended by the source of the video.
