Pamper her some......Do little things to make her comfortable such as foot & back rubs (She probably needs it if she's close
to delivery), and pick up the slack as she will be preoccupied
with the baby for a while and attending those needs. Buy her roses (After the delivery), and whatever she craves & love her without smothering her. She will remember how well you treated her during this often uncomfortable & anxious time in her life.

Be prepared for alot of different emotions at different times. She may be fine on second, crying the next, and then go into an angry state, it's all normal. Just help out as much as possible but don't be overcrowding. The natural mother instincts kick in and she will feel like she has to do it all for a while, just support her and let her know you are there to do whatever she needs help with, cooking, cleaning, laundry. Make sure that she understands too that she has to make to for herself, if its nothing but relax in the bathtub for 30 minutes or an hour. Congrats and lots of luck

Do the Daily things that your wife does, like clean up the house and get ready for the baby so that the baby and your wife can feel loved and happy to have you as a father and a husband.

Oh that is easy. All you have to do is be nice and be extra helpful at this time. For example. while she is watching TV get her some water in a glass with ice. And say this i thought that you and the baby is thirsty. she will smile. make sure that u have a straw in it. Tell her every morning and look her in the eye and say how do you do that....she will say what....you say how you made me so happy by just looking at me. I have more to say but i do not want to talk too much.

Be prepared for an unsettled period of time after the baby is born. Your wife will be tired and so will you. Take 50 percent of the load off with the baby - share and share alike and she will feel loved and appreciate you very much for it.

Tell her! Sure you could get her gifts, do nice things for her to make her feel special...but nothing compares to actually telling her. If she loves you...she will love your child...If there are problems with that...work together to make it work. If there is love then thats a good start. Discuss how things will be when your kid comes...and it will be easier for the both of you.

Spend more time. They expect your prescience with them. Take leave from your job and spend a week or so just with her. She love you for that.
