I made a left turn from the far right lane against a red light to follow a cop. He didn't even see me and I had to follow him for 2 blocks. Had I done that trying NOT to get caught I would have been behind bars. I was trying to flag him down because I was being followed by SOMEONE...I have no idea who as all their windows were tinted completely black. Very very scary stuff.

I once ran over a curb going about 35 mph. I just got my license and was distracted by the radio. I had veered partway into a turnlane and ran over the curb at the end. I was right behind a cop car.
Luckily, there was no damage, and I haven't hit anything while being distracted in the 6 years since.

When I was about 18, I was on I-91 in CT and I passed a state trooper who was hiding behind the bushes with a radar gun. I quickly glanced down at my speedometer and I was going 96 mph (speed limit was 55 then). I screamed and then stupidly ducked down and tried to hide behind the wheel while I tried not to be obvious about slamming on the breaks. I was NOT pulled over and to this day I have no idea why the hell he let me get away with that. I swear he MUST have been sleeping.

I was speeding down the highway and drove straight past a cop with a radar gun. I just managed to spot him diving into his patrol car and plant it. Fortunately, I soon found a gap between two `beautiful semis` and slotted into the left hand lane between them. By this time, the cop had built up speed and went flying past me in the right hand lane! I just stayed between the trucks as there was little chance he`d spot me. Fortunately he didn`t. I was very lucky and really sweated it out for a few minutes. I`d never do it again! Speed kills!

I don't know if it's very wacky, but I once got away with a clear driving violation based on the fact that I had a clean record. The cop let me go. Coooool.

50 mph in a parking lot. The cop asked me if I thought the parking lot being empty made it okay. I said no, then he let me go.

56 mph in 25 mph zone was slightly intoxicated and high , didn't exactly get away with it got 10 mph over ticket but didn't get breathalized or jailed :)

i never get away with anything! i got a ticket for making right hand turn during a red light - (when the turn lane was protected too!) ... cops really have it out for me ....

Speeding and nearly smashing into a car with no real reason why I did it. I sweet-talked my way out of it.
