Because there are so many unhappy people. When people don't like themselves, when they can't accept who they are, they are stressed, depressed, angry & become very intolerant of everyone else...Self-hatred becomes hatred of others. It is the source of all violence & evil. If we all loved ourselves then we'd love each other & get along just fine...unfortunately it seems to be human nature to hate...Many of us still find a way to love though. It's just not always easy...
Some people don't even realize that they hate themselves...yet they smoke, drink, do drugs, overeat, have casual sex, commit crimes. If you loved yourself wouldn't you take care of yourself? Would you poison yourself & put yourself in harm's way? Self-loathing is an epidemic. How can you love & respect anyone else if you can't even love & respect yourself?

There is so much hatred in this world because there is more then one human. Since the beginning of time there has been hatred. The first hate in the universe was Lucifer's hate for god. His jealously led him to challenge god, but he ultimately failed. Since Lucifer's hate of god hate has spread like a wildfire in a dead meadow. It led to the death of Able and many others. It is a sin to hate. Sin is responsible for the hatred. Humans are not hateful by nature. Sin was thrust ed upon us, but we did not do anything to stop it. I have Learned in my life that there are no evil or good "People". Humans have free will, we are not good or evil, we just do good or bad things. These good or bad things done effect our thinking. Thus we begin to think certain ways about what we see. Our thoughts normally revolve around our acts. Our acts influence our thoughts, and our thoughts influence our acts. I hope this answer is sufficient.

Hatred arises from a lack of understanding. If we each knew one another with a perfect completeness (as the theoretical "God" does), then we could all forgive each other for flaws and truly know each other's inner beauty. If we cannot understand, then disagreements will arise from people having "wrong" points of view. This leads to hatred. If we could fully explain ourselves, then there would be no call for that.

Without hate love could not exist. Hatred and love are qualities inseparable from the human condition -- these are things that make us human. Don't search for heaven in the far reaches of uppermost air, do not quest for hell in the darkness of abyssal earth. Just look in the mirror. The most noble ability found in a person is to better themselves, the ability to enhance their capacity for love while fighting the hateful side of their personality. To vanquish the hatred of the world one must fight against his/her own nature, this constant struggle will make us strong.

There is also so much love in this world, I feel that love and hate are two sides of the same coin.
I think that we all want to change the world as we want it, rather than take it as it is. the solution I feel lies in ignoring what we don't like, because by even thinking about the topics in the world we indirectly keep those things alive !!!

Hatred has two root sources: fear and jelousy. Both of these arise from the same root cause - laziness. We fear what we do not know or understand - we do not know or understand because we do not take the time to study. We are jealous of what we do not have - we do not have because we do not take the time to apply ourselves and aquire.

Because Mankind stays to be imperfect. As long as Mankind is imperfect, it will continue to be so until something dramatic takes place to change our flaws.

because....families are no longer a strong unit. Eveybody needs a mother (female) and father (male) figure that loves them unconditionally and teached them right from wrong. Growing up alone can make you bitter and hateful.
