Why does everyone get so jealous about things they don't have?, why do people bash others? Why do people try to put others down? Do they not have a conscience?

why do people hurt other people/ why do people bash others/ why do people try to put others down-
they might have unconsciously done it, or if they purposely did it,it might be to get a satisfaction out of revenge, usually because they have been hurt themselves. and also, the person that is hurting others would feel superior than them, which makes them feel better.
do they not have a conscience-
*most* people do, but by the time they realized what they have done, it might have been too late, and the persons they have hurt might not be a big part of their life, so they forget about it, especially if they are immature kids, who i think are the ones youre talking about...

because they don't see what they have for themselves, and no one has ever point it out to them, and also, if that thing that they dont have grabs attention or does good things or it just makes them happy if they were in their position, they will usually of course, want it.

I work in a salon, which is probably THE WORST environment for catty, petty behavior! Plus, I lived through highschool expecting that all of that behaviour was to be behind me when completed, not so. People will always blame thier shortcomings on someone else, no matter what the job market, no matter what personal experiance. Some, though rare, have a conscience. It's the people who really work for what they have who don't have to worry. The people who have strived to exceed thier own standards don't have to worry about the petty b.s. because they are above it all. You have worked for your reputation, work just as hard to save it. These people will get thiers in the end.

Well...there are good people (inside) and bad people (inside). The ones who hurt other...they enjoy doing it...it makes them seem bigger and wiser and better...yet, they are really insecure, rude and hurtful people. People should be thankful for what they have not be jealous of the good fortune of others...but all people are not alike. To answer this question...no they dint have a conscience...not when they are doing things like that. BUT let the shoe be on the other foot...let someone do that to THEM and the act like they are the victim here...its to bad they dint see that's exactly how they treat others...if they did...maybe they would learn.

life is not based on books where they could handle things

life is full of struggle and emotions where they get jealous for something they didnt have and what they need to have
life is not always what people always dreamt of

Some people are just that way you can't change them . They were born with a mean streak. You're better off to steer clear of them and surround yourself with people who make you feel happy and better about yourself.

because people wrongly think that hurting people brings them up. people subconsciously boost their ego by hurting other people, by putting them under their control. this is what happens when guys or girls have a relationship in which they their partner is under their control. it boosts their ego to control someone, and their partner, since they have emotional feelings, tend to stay around and please their partners, leaving them hurt. people are designed by God to share and be able to love each other and not control nor hurt each other.

jealous is the cause of all hurt,wishing u had what the other is having or thinking it's good when u have it & not the other person.
