I suppose if you have to label me, I am a lesbian. Yes I suppose I am proud of it, I don't go around telling people or march in the street with a sign but that doesn't make me less of one. I don't want to be judged because of it so I chose who I tell. Proud or not that is who I am and I have came to terms with it. I believe I am now who I am suppose to be, that this is where all roads lead me in my life. I am happy and she make me happier than any man could. I don't believe I was born this way like some say they are, this is just how things turned out for me and I am OK with that. I am not attracted to other women, just her. So I am not your typical lesbian. I just have chosen never to be with men anymore and give my whole heart to her.

I'm gay. Am I proud to be gay? I suppose so, but only along the same lines that I'm proud to be human. For me, being gay is a total non-issue. I watch the news, and I do vote against people who try to curtail my civil rights. But I don't preface everything I think or say with, "... as a gay man..."
