what caused the beginning of the universe?

What is our purpose on earth? What was nature thinking if all that happens is, we live then die and nothing else? How does that benefit nature, it has no purpose.

We are the only intelligent beings in the universe, (that we know of). Is it just by luck? No other creature even comes close.

It is obvious that there is only one true religion but how do you decide which one is correct? It is impossible. If you are born with agnostic parents you will probably be agnostic, born with buddhist parents you will be buddhist. So its basically like a lottery.

The only true religion is the one that will tell the truth of all that you seek for.

The only true religion will tell you that God exists and he created the universe and the world we live in. The true religion will tell you at what place man lived on this earth and who were the first parents were on this earth. The true religion would have a history of their people that would cover 4,000 years of man's history on this earth.

The true religion would have a creation story, a flood story, and a messanic story. The true religion will tell you why all the different languages started up in one day and caused the great migration of man to leave the cradle birth of their land and start to exert man's presence over the earth. That story in the true religion explains why there are so many similar myths and legends are part of the mythology of peoples all over the world. But there is only one true story and it is found in only one book.

The true religion would show you that the one saviour for all manknd is Jesus Christ. And that in his genealogy is the anscestor of Noah and Shem who are part of the flood myth. And lead back to the first parents of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden.

The true religion would have such a profound impact on man that one man from that book Abraham would have generated 3 of the powerful religions of the world, Judaism, Islam, and Christianiy.

The true religion would have the goldern rule and the 10 commandments. The true religion would impact nations and governments of ancient time as Babylon, Assyria, Persia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome. And yet it impacts westernized and eastern countries as well like Russia, Europe, The United States, Canada, and all those countries that once were European colonies. That true religion had much impact on all those people and countries the whole world over even today.

The true religion would exist with a people who are called by his name and have church buildings to worship their God. You can see them in neighborhoods and city blocks.

The true religion would predict with uncanny accuracy the life and times we live now. It will tell you about the future. It will tell you about the coming blood baths that will come upon the earth. But yet that is not the end. It will tell you that Jesus the Saviour will come back as Jesus the Messiah and redeem his nation Israel of all of her enemies and destroy the weapons of war and promise 1,000 years of peace, where the lion and the lamb will sleep side by side.

The true religion will tell you about a new heaven and a new earth. The true religion will tell you that man is not the only creature here but angels and demons as well. These too are intelligent beings but they are spiritual. The true religion will tell you that they can posess or live inside a man and cause him to do things that are not normal.

The true religon will tell you, that you are not just a physical being, but a spiritual being as well. That you are an immortal being. That you have an eternal destiny. To either live with God in heaven and happiness or to live in the lake of fire where the worm dieth not, and to be totally seperate and alone with no one there to help you.

The true religion will tell you things you will love to hear, and other parts you will want to reject. But the true religion is the Truth whether we like it or not.

What is the meaning of life? This is not the right question. This is the correct question. What is the purpose for life? Man was here to glorify God and to worship him. But because of our sin nature, that we got way back in the Garden of Eden, we choose to reject God. The only remedy is to ask God to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. And he will do so. You ask God to live in your heart and it is Jesus' nature in you that will always fulfill the purpose and will of the father for your life.

That is the true religion. Is there a religion like that?

Is it Buddism, or Hinduisim,or Islam?

The true religion is Christianity, that sprouted from the root of Judiasm. The saviour of the world is Jesus Christ.

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.


To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

The meaning of life, I feel that life is a reality to experience the fruits of our actions as we desired it truly.
I feel that the beginning of the universe, is the desire of the supreme reality to be not alone. then all the divisions of the spirit thought the same .( in short it can be assumed that it is a cycle from separation from the supreme reality back to him)

religion. What are they? This I feel was created by our fore fathers to guide the next generation back to the supreme reality .

only one true religion but how do you decide which one is correct? I feel that If we really study all the different religions then we may conclude that the Ultimate. goal is supreme reality .

I feel we may be able to conclude the purpose only after we achieve supreme reality.

During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to how
to classify human beings. One resercher proposed the
expression "intelligent animal". After advanced studies
on monkeys, it was dropped. Another reseacher proposed
"tool using animal". After observing some animals
making wooden tools and sharpening them with knife like
stones, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"weapon using animal". A decade ago, a rare film was
shot in African forests. One short monkey was hit very
badly by a big monkey. The short monkey prepared a
wooden knife using stones and hid it on the top of a
tree. After some days, when the big monkey came to
attack the short monkey, it ran up to the tree for the
weapon it has hid and killed the big monkey. The one
thing that the anthropologists found with any group of
human beings, even if they did not have contacts with
the out side world for thousands of years, is
spirituality with some form of religion. So, man is a
"spiritual animal" if you want to call him that way.

The Upanishads say that "Manush" (human) was so
named because he has "Manas" a
mind higher than that of the animals which realises the
divinity in creation. It was present since the creation
of human beings. Religion is the characteristic feature
of most of the human beings. It is as eternal and
and as unchanging as the Almighty.

Almighty has chosen you, and every other person
for a particular purpose. The aim of life is to
understand the greatness of the creator. And to search
for the purpose for which a soul is given human life.
This purpose differs from person to person because it
is dependent on the past Karma of the soul. (It is as
different as our finger prints, no two are alike). But
one thing is sure. Human beings are the highest of all
creation. The rest of the creation is intended for the
use of human beings. How you use is dependent on your
mental attitude. When you understand that purpose, then
you will derive the highest happiness of your life.

The purpose of creation was a difficult question to answer
even for Rishis of the yore. Many texts give many
explanations. In my opinion, the purpose of creation
will never be known by any human being.
Almighty is eternal. Almighty is Omnipotent. Almighty
is infinite. How can the finite understand
the pupose intended by the infinite?

1. Purpose of life? I think none, and after we realized that, we've started to create our ones!
2. What is the chance for another planet JUST like ours(or similar) to exist in this wast, "endless" Universe? I would say, significantly!
3. Religion? No. Control, psychical comfort and arrogance YES!(in my opinion)

This has nothing to do with luck or religion. Religion is just an quick and easy answer to those questions.
