If that is the case, then tim hardaway would be going to jail for his comments made about a male player admitting his homosexuality. He said the word "hate" and thus he qualifies. The KKK, Black panthers, national alliance, rappers etc. ALL would fall under this category. Sadly the idealistic beliefs that this world will live in a harmonious nature with so many divided people is like seeing an oasis in the middle of Detroit. democracy incites hate from other countries!

The US Freedom of Speech prohibits such restrictions - if groups are spouting out obscenities to incite and endorse violence. How do you propose peace loving Americans to go around this given right, in efforts to go about what you propose?

This suggestion seemingly will work the same way China is - and will only be accomplished by a "one party" State. Where the government will induce their own ideology to conform and fit their needs, goals, and beliefs.

Unfortunately, those you speak of doesn't speak for the majority of Americans, whom gotten over persecution of race

Law is a fence, not a light. A restriction not an author of good action. Only out of freedom can good action be born. We have far far too many laws. Every law compromises freedom. Basic freedoms which are so fragile in a world filled with those who have been led to believe perfection can be legislated into existence if only we have enough legislation.

Government has only a narrow arena of legitimate function but it is the socialist conviction to turn to law when only love can manifest the desired outcome.

Probably not. Who would determine what would be defined as "hatred". Not agreeing with someones agenda? Not liking someone who is different? It would open to many doors that need not be opened. If anyone initated violence towards someone else, then that's already been taken care of. There are laws to that effect now.

This is a joke too Right?

A lot of the hatred is indigenous to your own countrymen. Blacks and whites and how about those hicks the KKK that promote it with White house support. Are they ever indicted? No! So at that rate whatever punishment you would decree for this offense 80% of Americans are in for it!

way too broad cause lots of people just hate things so anyone can invoke the law to get rid of what they don't like so long as others don't like it either.
