More than likely its cause from being indoors. The heat is on. And they are least likely not to shed if she was outdoors. If you will notice your skin (humans) are so dry .. and you have alot of scratching and peeling of skin. As in dander more in the winter. Same goes with an animal. They arent accustomed to living indoors. I have a cat who lives indoors and she is always leaving hair everywhere. The rabbit will be ok.. but if you are that concerned go see a vet.

Rabbits shed 4 times/year and every other one is a heavy shed. We've found with ours that even the heavy sheds can be heavier one time than another for no apparent reason.
A couple fo things: you should not bathe your rabbit - they don't like it and it can really stress them out. If you do, please dry her off very carefully and use a hair dryer on the lowest, coolest heat as possible.
You also don't need to add vitamins to her water. If she is getting a quality plain pellet, that is all she needs. Here are some links to info on diet and hay (which she should have all the time):

alot of times animals shedding more than normal can be due to stress or it can be caused by a medial (most likely skin related) problem. i would check with a vet. Also watch her and see if she is acting differently

Hmm.. Take her to the vet, it might be a vitamin deficiency.
Rabbits are so cute.

Sometimes rabbits pull out their fur to make a nest when they're close to giving birth...

Go to http://www.rabbit.org and see if the House Rabbit Society has any info. It could be her diet, her bedding, dry air in the house, heat, anything.
