The progress of India aint that bad compared to all the countries AROUND it!The main problem of India is thier health issues.More than half of the men in India have a sexually transmitted disease.India is the #1 country in the world with a high population containing AIDS.Most people in this country do not have enough money to pay for pills,health care,etc.And because of it's high population,there is many demands for Healthcare,food,etc.The mortality rate isnt low,and the birth rate for India has always been high.Indian mothers usually have more than two kids.

India is a developing country . it has made good progress in every field . but still we find it not fit . their are 2 reason for this firstly poverty . Poverty is such a devil that swallow the whole of the country .Its is due to some selfish people that not have a heart but are corrupted .secondly unemployment . and 3rdly illiteracy that are the only reason why are country is lacking back if capture these evils we can be on the apex of development .

People like India's citizens who are willing to pay for magical cures and are ready to elect politicians who make them fight for religion and caste, who insist on caste based reservations, knowing fully well that the only people benefited by such reservations will NOT be the poor.
People like us make India's progress slow.

CORRUPTION.........india is a vast country with a lot of population...AND with a lot of resources.
the only reason fr indias slow progress is its CORRUPTION....
corruption is eating away the resources of india.corruption is like a dam.it is totally blocking progress.once it bursts progress will be at the speed of thouoght.progress will be unstopabale

Yes he slows down the run rate and puts the team under pressure. He might have scored 10000 runs but u look at his career strike rate its about 40 which i guess very low for a modern indian batsman. He needs to score and score quickly if he needs to justify his place in the team.
