Why do they feel the need to exploit every single rumor that is out there? Do people actually watch this crap?

I hear you! It is pathetic that before we hear about our local news and our nation we have to hear about Anna Nicole Smith... But its what the public wants... The public made her famous and the more questions the stations get about her the more she's gonna make news!

Plus, now that she is dead she has become more interesting.... The drama!!!
Where is the baby? Who will get custody of the baby? Who is the father? Is it that prince, the lawyer, the photographer, the old rich guy's frozen sperm that fathered the baby? When is Anna Nicole's body gonna be released? To who? When is she gonna be embalmed? why are they waiting?......... My God!!!!

It's getting stale now. But, it is the media. The way they blow every thing out of proportion is unreal. Look at the war in Iraq. When it first started, that's all you saw, on every channel, every day, all day long. I say give it a break and go onto other stories. Even happy stories would be nice now and then. I don't watch the news any more, I can't stand the way the media makes such big deals out of someone else's tragedy. Thank you for letting me voice my opinion.

People watch it because there is nothing else to
better to do and I believe that when TV ratings are
done, these same people complete the surveys.

Why the media does the "overkill" on stuff
like this is beyond me!. Disregarding who she was,
for pete's sake, the woman wasn't cold before the
tongue-tanglers began dissecting her even more than
when she was alive. Of course she ate that up...
but that's not your point - we have to watch it!!!

People like to see the tragic happen to rich people. It makes them feel better about themselves. But yes I'm sick of it and other stories like it.

It is getting a little old.

The only reason it's being reported on is because Smith's death was very sudden and certainly unexpected, not the mention the death, people, and circumstances surrounding it.

yes it is getting very old. however I did stay up all night to watch princess diana's funeral and ignored mother teresa's (they died in the same week) so i guess I am no better then all the others that are so caught up it the drama.
