I am so proud to be an American! What a great country we have. Just think, I can say and do and be anything I want without the fear other countries have of government or religious recriminations. Because of democracy, I can have a say in who represents me in politics. People do not kill others for winning an election, or being another religion. For the most part we live our lives as we want. Because of capitalism, we have immense prosperity. Yes we have crime and injustice sometimes but that is not the norm. Most americans are decent, and kind and care about each other. We try to help other nations when disasters strike and have the means to do it. We really are not into creating an empire but we hate to see people being mistreated by their leaders. Things are good here and we would like it to be good everywhere. Some here in America will surely disagree with me, but that is ok because I will not try to kill them for that. It's not the case in some places in this world. Yes I Love this country! all the good and even with the bad.

Just go to a third world country that makes the politics here look like a walk in the park. You will then be proud. Our poverty levels and our ways of life cant compare to the starvation, political corruptness and mere not caring for the poor as I have seen it in the Philippines. I have never noticed how much cleaner the air and water in the USA is, and how much of a city skyline I can see when I look at Chicago till I visited Manila Philippines. Don't get me wrong I love the people there. I just think it could use alot of improvements.

So yes I am proud to be American and living here in the USA.

Yes I am proud to be an American. Why? Because I am an American and I will always be proud of myself. Am I proud of my government? Hell no. Taxes are out of control and all the governers are turning gay. I just hope the next President can clean house and turn this countries ethics and morality in the right direction.

Our great diversity is one thing I'm proud of. America represents for the whole Earth. We have an American citizen from about every bloodline and tribe on the face of the globe. I would like to see more diversity represented in both the political spectrum and across the Media. We should draw upon our diversity to find new innovations. Innovations and the automobile industry solidified our status as a World Power after WWII. Our diversity and ability to innovate are a few of the things that make us one of the best nations on the planet.

Learn from others, mistakes happen all the time. We can learn to overcome. Fight to overcome what weights upon us on those grounds. Nothing is serve until we stand to protect. It a place mixed various of cultures into one unity. If one can not, they shall parish else where! We fail in order to gain! That's what I think!
We are a mix blessing of fleecing, con, bigot, nice, cool, helper, caring. It really mix up here and our government has some mix blessing too. To control out of the norm will be in vast majority of needs to work, be a better thinker, and listen to our wise folks!

I'm grateful.

And thankful.

I'm proud of my ancestors, and my grandfather, and my father-- all who fought. And I'm proud of our younger ones today. I'll leave it at that. Don't want to be sent to re-education camp yet.
