I took my son to see one and she had him draw a tree, he did and he put a knot hole in it. she called me in and told me he was sexually abused. I took him in for an adhd test.
It turned out that my son just liked to do pictures in detail.

Likely they won't say anything if you put a hole or knot in a tree. The reason is that holes and knots are typical manifestations in trees. The analysis of the psychiatrist rests more in your own interpretations of the tree itself - they might ask you why you drew certain things etc. Your answers will mainly determine their ideas. Furthermore, such psychological projection tests are infrequently used in isolation - other psychoanalytic measures including hypnosis, inkblot tests, thematic apperception tests, and case contexts will be used in the final diagnosis.

In short then, they won't think anything if you put a knot or hole in a tree. It's just a tree.

i like the previous answer, hole for emptiness. For a knot however I would assume a difficult issue or pattern that is interfering with your growth of full potential.

If there psycoanalitic they will interprate a hole as a yonic symbol (to stand for a womans body part) and say that you have an unconcios problem with sex.
