There should be no logical explanation to support that.

Just think about it. The only ture purpose we know of life is to pass on our genetic code. The body goes through a complex process to ready our reproductive organs and even release hormones and chemicals to produce extreme pleasure at moment of climax. Pheremones are produce by the other sex to promote sex and ejaculation.

At what point would a male's growth be stunted by a positive and deliberate body function?

By that rationale, no, ejaculation would not debilitate human growth.
