My favorite sandwich is plain old pb&j but I have a few I've tried that are great:
1. If you have a griddle make a BLAT sandwich--bacon, lettuce, avacado and tomato with cheese. I worked at a restaurant and they did this with Harvati cheese and thin avacado slices. It was very good...but you have to like avacado.
2. My sister-in-law makes a lot of wraps and I really love one she makes with sliced turkey, fresh baby spinach, and pre-made chipotle mayo. You can buy that at the store prepackaged. It makes a great quick lunch and I am sure you can add more things in it (I want to try adding some sprouts!).

Those are the most inventive I can come up with for you! :)

I love sandwiches, I prefer Sara Lee Honey turkey breast with provolone cheese with fresh spinach leaves on wheat. As far as inventions go... I have never heard of this although its probably already been thought of.... A taco hamburger. .. First, you mix a packet of El Paso's taco seasoning mix to your hamburger. Then you make hamburger patties as you would just a regular hamburger. For the "shell" of your burger. toast your buns. Place your meat on a bun. Next, what ever you like on your taco, place on your burger taco. I like sour cream, lettus, shredded cheese onions jalepeno peppers and homade salsa and guacomole. Again, I have never heard of this! LAST, ENJOY!

Egg Salad, but I make it a little different: I soften cream cheese in the microwave, and stir that in with chopped hard boiled eggs, mayonnaise, celery seed, brown mustard, and a little cayenne. I usually have it on rye bread. Sometimes I put in pickle relish, sometimes I don't. The cream cheese adds wonderful flavor and gives it a nice texture too.

CLUB: three slices Sara Lee whole wheat, untoasted, four crispy bacon slices, 3 oz fresh thin sliced deli ham, 3 oz fresh thin sliced deli turkey, crisp iceburg lettuce, 3 medium sliced fresh tomato. Dukes mayonaise and stone ground mustard.
Spread mayo on bottom slice of bread and add turkey, half of lettuce, and one and one half slices of tomato. Top with second slice of bread and sparingly spread with mustard. Add ham, remainder of lettuce and tomato and bacon strips, halved into eight pieces and cris-crossed over tomato. Spread last slice of bread with mayo and top sandwich. Pick (toothpick) into halves or quarters and cut with sharp knife using a sawing motion, arrange on plate and place side item (french fries, potato chips, cole slaw) in middle and garnish with fresh parsley and dill pickle spear.
