I think I understand what your trying to point out. Are you referring to the idea that the monsters that are under the bed are actually the ones inside ones head or mind?

anyone that goes around cutting off legs is pretty much a monster themselves so i wouldn't worry about whats UNDER the bed so much as I would about the one who lays IN it

Since the monsters come from your mind only you would know. If they couldn't live under your bed I am sure that you would find somewhere else for them to live.

Absolutely! Haven't you ever seen the movie "Little Monsters" ?
They come in under your bed through a little door. They will still be there, but will have to lift your bed up to get out. Duh.
