most definitly.gm is crap. had a 96 s-10 with the 2.2. looked nice but cab was small even for a extended cab, underpowered, even with a manual trans. barely had the truck ( if you can honestly call it one ) for a year before i traded it for my present truck of 2 years, a 95 dodge dakota club cab slt 4x4. in one year my s-10 had to be sent to a shop 3 times. having been a mechanic in the army i normally do all my own work, but i didnt have the time or specialized tools to mess with it.my dakota hasnt seen a shop yet,and i trust it to start when i need it too

Wouldn't it be better to share your problem with us. That way someone could probably help you. Most people on this sight are to smart to come out with a remark like yours. You are not looking for help you are looking for revenge and to my knowledge that is not the mandate of this site, period. There is not another manufacture that will go as far as GM does to resolve a problem.

No. Because GM is actually trying to do something to survive. Ford is just renaming ****. I used to like Ford, but they have a long way to go.
