Yes, for any degree there is a math component. However, for you degree, I would imagine that the math component is the bare minimal requirements, unlike that of an Engineer or Electronics major. I would suggest taking your math first to get it out of the way. Once you're done with your math, you can concentrate your energy on Spanish. Good luck, or should I say, "buena suerte!"

Yes...not as much as other majors, but your school probably has general education requirements which include some of the lower level math courses.

If you speak spanish you won't need math. You can clean my house and take care of my kids

No one can escape math. If consumer math is offerred go for it. It's easier than others and also you'll be glad for it. It's actually quite useful.

yes, you will have to take at least one math class. I majored in history and had to take two. Lucky for me my teacher was very, very flexible lol.

you have to take it, just like you have to take English

but if you passed IB tests in high school, then you can get some classes of math taken off

It depends on whether or not your school has a math requirement. Not every school is the same.
