What do you want to write about? Choose a topic that you like or something that interests you. It is difficult to start a sonnet for someone when you do not know anything about them.

Look around your room and find something that feel strongly about or that you really enjoy. It can be about sports, your pet, your family... but it really needs to come from your heart for it to be any good.
