I am having triplets. Is it safe to try and breast feed all three?

Yes, it is perfectly safe and the most healthy option. Your body will produce enough milk, if this is one of your concerns, it produces as much as you remove.

You can try but i think it would be very diffucult and demanding. I had a friend that had triplets and she tried to breast feed but she said she felt like she was doing it all the time and really didn't sleep. If u bottle feed then u are more likely to be able to have help so that u can sleep and rest. One baby is hard enough to breast feed, i can't imagine 3

I suppose if God gives you triplets, then he will also give you enough milk to feed them!
I think you could, but what if they were all hungry at the same time? You might need to supplement a bottle of pumped breast milk or formula.
If you do decide to do this, you will sure lose your baby weight fast!!

Absolutely, but it may not be practical to try to 100% breast feed. Many mothers of twins and triplets opt to combine breast and bottle feeding.

It's totally safe...but it may wear you out. I'd advise getting a breast pump so that you can bottle feed breast milk on the days you are starting to feel like they are getting in line...

First off, congratulations on your bundles of joy! and seccond, yes of coarse it is safe to breastfeed three babies. Back in the olden days, people couldnt afford to feed three babies like that with formula, and it didnt exsist way long ago. So they had to breastfeed. Our bodies were made to breastfeed our children. but not always can someone breastfeed, because sometimes the baby may not latch on right away. i tried breast feeding while i was in the hospital, but i couldnt... because i just had a C-Section, and i was in alot of pain, and my baby didnt really feed well. Even if you did formula feed, it is still healthy for the baby.

Good luck to you, and i hope i helped ya some.

YES!!!! but having that many you sure are going to be tired but breasrtfeeding is great!!!! be sure to at least have SOME formula. i am a nursing mother of 1 and sometimes i wasnt enough for her!!!! but be sure when your breasts get FULL you pump!!!! pumping will increase your suply and nursing will become easier. at first my daughter wouldnt latch on and i had to pump for almost 2 months but eventually she and i both got the whole nursing thing. so good luck and be sure to get as much sleep as you can now!!!!

Sure! Be sure to enlist some help for all the other duties for the first few weeks. you will need to get feeding established and it will be very helpful for someone else to change diapers, bathe them etc... Check into portpartum Doulas.
