I posted a question about my laptop being frozen and i said the power button it not working even me holding it.....the batter is under the keyboard monitor portion and will not come apart from the base......what can i do

The battery should be on the underside of the laptop. You might have to push a level to unlock the battery for removal. If the laptop will not power down otherwise, you basically are left with two options.

First, you can unplug the laptop and leave it on until the battery completely runs down.

Second, you can unplug the laptop and remove the battery. This will also cause the laptop to shut down. Depending on how long the laptop has been powered up, I would recommend leaving it on a counter for a few hours to insure that the components are cool. Overheating can cause all sorts of strange things to happen to a laptop.
