I don't think so. I think she'll end up having one of those "dead but revived" experiences like they do in the soaps all the time. She'll hang out with the dead Denny and Bomb Guy for a bit until she decides Derek and Yang needs her.....then she'll come back to her body and voila, Grey is back.
I do think when she does come back there'll be some serious questioning about whether she intentionally "gave up" in the water. Remember Derek freaking out about finding her in the bathtup in last weeks episode? Can we say suicidal much?
I gotta admit though, I cried my freakin' eyes out watching that episode tonight.

finally a passionate topic! i swear i think about this every day! sorry im not writing with apostrophes or capitals but i just cut my finger and its hard to type. no, i dont believe she will die. i dont believe that izzy would say all that stuff ("i believe she will survive, i believe that she is strong enough...etc") just to later in the show have meredith die. plus that would mean no meredith and ellen pompeo is the best actress OR actor on the show. also you know that the last scene, where meredith wakes up next to denny and the bomb squad guy who are both dead, is just a dream. i mean what kind of show would try to show a scene where someone is living in the afterlife??!! that doesnt make any sense. meredith CANT die...PLEASE NO!!!!!

Tonight's episode ended with her surgery and the chief saying "We're losing her." Then they show Meredith with Denny and the bomb squad guy, when she asks "Am I dead?" And Denny tells her yes.
But I really hope she doesn't die. The show wouldn't be the same without her and for McDreamy's sake, I'll keep my fingers crossed!

If is the last season episode next week I think maybe they had to have her dieing, maybe they need her for some movie, but it would be to bad, because I think she's the best actrice on the show.

No, she is the title character of the show. They wouldn't be able to kill her off without ending the show. Check out the message boards on abc.com for more info.

I think it's that really peppy Dr chick - the one everyone hates - remember that one scene where it left her looking rather...confused and hurt? I wonder if she commits suicide?
