it depends on the message you are trying to send if it is that you want here to be in it for you then yes, but then prepare for rejection cause she might not feel like that to you.
if you really want to do the lingere thing then a gift card to a shop that sells it would be better.
i personally would like it from a friend of any kind.

No way... too intimate. You will send the wrong message.
EVEN IF if the message you WANT to send it " I like you more than a friend". Lingerie is a little too forward at first.
Lingerie says " I want to see you mostly naked". Think...is that the message I want to send?
