please pick up the smaller one for:
1.the suit will become loose after using it day by day.
2.if u swim regularly and hard u will lose weight and it will become loose as well
3.if u do some spa or go to theme park playing water...it will become loose faster!
4.notice: dun squeeze it after water-washing so that it can live longer

Well, swimsuits don't stay their size forever! They stretch and fade, making them worse fitting. For my practice suit, I wore a size 34 to create more drag, and stuff, and for my race suit, i ended up in a size 26! That will probably work for you, as long you don't race in it though. race suits should be tight, and almost uncomfortable, for the least drag. (ps, 34 is about a small/ medium, 26 is probably and extra small!!!)

Don't get a suit that's too big! It'll move around too much in the water!!! Get a suit that fits snugly. One trick to figure out the right size is to pull the straps up. If they can reach past your ears, the suit is too big. If you can barely pull them, it's too small. If you feel as if your breathing is compressed in the suit, try a larger one.

i swim proffesional and have done since i was about 2
and when i was little my mum always used to buy me a big size
but i found out when i went into the water the costume
went all baggy and big.
i suggest getting a size smaller than you tryed on because in the water it will expand a bit and give way for moving aorund.
hope this helps x

I usually get a size too small because the elastic does wear out after you wear the bathing suit a few times

if its loose, more cholrinated water will be able to circulate in it . cholrine damages the elastic stuff, so you should get a smaller one.
you could also try putting on the suit and pulling the straps up. if it goes past ur ears or doesnt reach you need a bigger or smaller, respectively.

I have the same trouble. I guess you need to choose the one you feel fits best dry - what if it clings or stretches? it could go either way.
