Charlie Chaplin's movies, they aren't the oldest, but they are still so cool!
Sometimes i even think all those modern special effects just make movies worse

At a special night at the National Film and Sound Archives (Australia) http://www.nfsa.afc.gov.au/screensound/screenso.nsf/AllDocs/C6444B356DFF7289CA257199000AECC2?OpenDocument
I saw The Sentimental Bloke movie that had been refurbished and fixed - by memory it was the first or one of the first made in Aust. There were several short old movies which I can't remember the names of but was about Ned Kelly gang. Then there was 'on the beach' fully restored.

I've seen some old Nickeloden movies. Most of them were porn for the day.
Full length film would be Either Klondike with Charlie Chaplin or Mephisto. I don't know which is older.

the oldest movie I've ever seen was Metropolis. It's a German Murnau movie from 1927. I think it was probably one of the first science fiction movies ever made if not the first. It's agreat movie very advanced considering when it was made. Murnau also made Nosferatu.
