My lashes always go in different directions so the mascaras i use always have chunks and stuff. I was thinking maybe Volum Express. Is that any good? Any other good ones?

I prefer over so many I have tried is Clinique's High Impact Mascara in black but first I use Ardell's clear Brow sculpting gel. It works great on my lashes as a primer. I can only find it at Walgreens. That stuff makes my lashes not clump and go in one direction, up.

I also use Clinique's 3 step and the dramatically different gel, step 3, I put all over my face, I close my eyes and start at my forehead and go down. The stuff quickly absorbs and it adds minerals and vitamins and keeps my lashes healthy. Atleast thats what I've learned since I started doing that.

Lamcome has the #1 selling mascara. It is the best if you want a long look. If you want to look like you are wearing fake lashes buy the Flash Show. Get these at the mall.

Now if you do not want break the bank I like Telescopic Mascara by L'OREAL for day time and Volum' Express Turbo Boost by Maybelline at night. The Turbo Boost really makes my eyes stand out.

I use Maybelline Lash Stylist and this is the first mascara I've ever continued to use after the first one ran out! It only runs when I cry, but comes off easily with washing.
Above all I get many compliments on my eyelashes. Someone asked me how I get them so perfect (!!), it was so suprising! It makes my eyelashes very long and defined (without being spidery). The brush is special also and allows you to control the amount and direction you want your lashes to point...I haven't used an eyelash curler in over a year!
Only problem: when you first get it, it is extremely wet and you can mess up by putting too much on, but it gets easier to apply the more you use it!
I hope this works for you :)

My new favorite mascara is Loreal HIP high intensity pigments mascara in ultimate black. My experience with volum express has been it's thick liquid an a low quality brush. i was a little bummed that i had spent about 6-7 dollars on CRAP. anyway, if all mascaras cause you clumps, you should get a brow comb/brush. after your mascara dries, comb through them. this will separate the lashes and comb out all clumps. also, clumping could be caused by mascara being expired. after about five weeks, mascara should be replaced.

My lashs are very thin, short, and straight. I went through all the mascara's in all the drug stores. From Covergirl, Maybelline, Revlon, Prestige to the bit pricey ones, Clinique, Lancome, etc. However, my co-worker did put me on the Christian Dior FlashShow. I'm going to warn you, it's $48.00 for a tube. Although, it's worth every penny. I love how it thickens, curles, and volumizes my lashes.

Dior (diorshow). It's a bit expensive but it's P-e-r-f-e-c-t!
Volum xpress is very good also. Why don't you use that curling eyelash scissors before you put the mascara? that way they won't go on different directions and you might also wipe the brush with a paper tissue a little?

If you want to spend a little more...and sounds like you are probably going to throw away the cheaper ones anyway because they are clumping...get Lancome definitials...or Channel...The Lancome mascara extends, plumps, and doesn't clump...the Channel does all of these as well but has a better brush...You do know to replenish and throw away your mascara every 45 days, right? This may be your problem...Hope this helps!

Kiss Me - Makeup eye remover is not needed for this this brand of mascara! You can remove it with water, it does not leave raccoon eyes or flake either. Some people may think that this mascara does not volumnize your lashes, but it does!!

i cannot tell u which one not to use from my own personal experiance, i think they're waste of $, 1st maybeline(volume+curle) it pink tube w/light green top,(its dries fast, makes eyes itch, does not do volume or curle) forgot exact name of it, and onother L'Oreal Volume shocking, with step 1(white coat) step 2 wierd mascara brush. Whaterver they mentioned on the package of the L'oreal volume shocking does not work, brush is uncomfortable, tickens clums up together eyelashes, also thast white coat(clumps eyelash together too) when u put mascara top, its just too messy.
