Sit in the dark, and tell stories of the wonderful days of yesteryear when there were lights.
Reminisce about how much better the good old days, when there were lights, and how much simpler things were, back then, when people didn't go round bumping into furniture.
Blame the loss of the lights on the decay of social morality.
Do childish things like poking people in the ribs, in the darkness, then say It wasn't me, it was Them... (Only works if there are more than two people, unless you have imaginary friends, of course).
