well you have up to a week after the due date to return it, if u wish to return it after that, all u have to pay is $1.75 re-stocking fee, or u can keep it for the remaining price of the movie after rental fees (it will tell u in the reciept. only pay such and such more to own) usually good deals to own. i've gotten a bunch for only $1.80 more. you just take in the movie and they will give you the original case. Hope this helps!

If you keep the monie over 7 days late they charge you the cost of the movie. Remember when you sighed up they asked for credit or debt card. If you return the movie after 7 days they charge you a restocking fee. It is $1.75 or $2.00. This is a rip off. I changed to Hollywood Video. All rentals are 5 days. If I cant get the movie back in 5 days I do not need to rent it.

Blockbuster sucks!!.. If I were you, and you lived in an area with a Blockbuster and a Hollywood Video, I'd go to Hollywood because you get to keep the movies for like 5 days, and they have such good deals all the time.. Blockbuster rips mad people off all the time..

Dude, i work at a blockbuster in AUSTRALIA, and i know that if we had a policy like that, we'd make NO money at all! Most of our cash is made thru late fees people pay!

I think that deal was limited time offer. IF you keep the video for over a week if it's 2 day rental it's okay. If you go over the specific amount of time they put in tiny print you pay late fee.

if you don't return it you end up "buying the movie"
if you return it late you have to pay the restocking charges..
(over 7 days late) after so many days Blockbuster will
call you and remind you have have some movies out..
