Hi Meggie, My normal temperature is 97.7 degrees and has been all of my life. Reason being I have low blood pressure. Nothing to be concerned about. Not everyone is a 98.9. As long as you don't feel fatigued or show signs that are not normal for you I would only suggest you see your family physician if you are really concerned about it. Good luck!

different temperatures are normal for some people. womens temps usually run lower than mens do. also it could be an indication that your metabolism is slowing down, even for a few hours. temperature is also the way our body tells us when to sleep and wake up. it is much more normal and safe to have a lower temp than a high one.

Some people have a variance of a degree or two above or below normal.
As long as it doesn't go more than a degree or two above or below, I think it is pretty harmless.
Try not to stress so much, get sleep, eat like you should.

Do not worry about that at all. Your internal body temperature will flucuate from time to time. As long as it is not a few degress higher or lower, than you have nothing to worry about. What we do from day to day, what we eat, how we live, your activites, all of these things affect the way your body behaves.
