Tell her that she has to talk to someone about it. First of all, that girl might be molesting again and so someone has to know about her. Second, she will learn that there are support groups for people who have been molested and the worst thing sometimes is feeling you're the only one (you're not). If she sees that other victims of molesters are people who look and act nice, she'll realize that there's nothing defective about her that made this thing happen to her. In that sense, therapy is a beginning because a good therapist refers you to thing like support groups.

It is very hard to console someone who has been through something like that. Its something u can never understand unless u have been through it yourself. I would encourage u to tell your friend that she needs to get some professional help and report this to the police. Most importantly she needs to know that this is not her fault. I went through the same thing only it was by a family member and i found that the only relief i got and felt better about what happened is by talking to people that have been through the same thing

There is no consolation you can really give her. What she needs is a good dose of therepy to get over issues. Call a child psychologist and schedule a meeting ASAP. File a police report. Make sure that this girl is fairly punished for what she did.

this might be something that may only be done with time. its hard to be molested by anyone, trust me. let her know that it wasnt her fault and she didnt do anything to provoke it. as long as she knows that it wasnt her fault and she didnt do anything wrong, then that may help a lil. it also helps to be mad at the person who did the molesting. i was molested by my grandfather, and when i went to therapy (it didnt help) i knew that the only real help i got was talking with my sisters about it b/c they had been through it too. it helped to be mad at him *and his wife* and it did take a while. let her know that she can talk to you about anything whenever she needs to talk. talking really does help. sorry it had to happen to her. God bless, and hope she has a healthy recovery.
