Hello

We are travelling to the USA in Sept/October and many of the places offer "free wireless internet". If we come with a laptop computer, what do we need to access this wireless internet?

Thanks.

you just need to have a wireless adaptor on your laptop..is it a new laptop?....all new laptops have inbuilt wifi..if its an older one then you have to buy either a wireless PCMCIA card (if you have that slot on the side of the laptop) or you can buy a USB wireless adaptor.they look sort of like a flash drive and are around $50...try Dick Smiths or Tandy Electronics...look for the Netgear ones as they are the best here in Australia..but more than likely you already have the wireless built in...good luck with it and have a great trip!

Lots of places have free wireless access plus a lot of communities are getting free wireless access. I am pretty sure the same wireless standards apply in Australia as in the US.

Australia is a democracy. If human beings in Australia did no longer like their own scientific device they might vote to alter it. would not that allow you to be conscious of a few thing approximately socialized drugs? Democratically elected governments elect to guard their populations. international places with socialized drugs are wealthier and greater effective knowledgeable than the united states. Canada is likewise a democracy, while you're blind to that as nicely.
