i keep seeting back to my origanal homepage but when log off of the internet it goes back to google

It sounds like you have spyware if it goes back to google search after you reset it to something else. Try clearing your cookies and temp internet files.. doing a virus/spyware scan and removing any of those. Then reset it and see if it works. Good Luck!

Go to the page you would like to set as your home page. Click on "tools" on the menu bar. The top section on the "general' tab is called home page. Click "use current" to reset your homepage.

Go to Tools Menu click on Internet Options and make the Homepage to whatever you want.
or just click "use current" to make yahoo your homepage

if it is explorer on the desk top right click ie icon-> properties. in the home page section click use blank button.
if it is mozilla open the browser. from tools menu select options in the main tab select show a blank page.
