What I meen is, when we say 'I' , most of us mean our body(the way we feel our face muscles, male or female, how big or how small, our tone of voise, our habbits..........) at least that what I mean when I say 'I'.
But then who sees, who heers, who feels?
Eyes work by converting the light that 'hits' the eyes into electric impulses which then travel into our brain to be converted again for whom (very rough explanation of how eyes work)
So coming back to the seER, that ' picture' that I (not known I) see, does it mean that I am my brain, because it is the brain that sees, heers, feels or not? Maybe the brain is just converting all the information for me, but then who Am I?
If i am not my body, not my brain, but I see , I feel , I hear , Who am I? I see the feeling but I don't see myself, who am I?
Who are you?
not from books but from you own experience

That I is the self, being. However this is because of relativity youa re getting such doubts. Imagine that you have closed your eyes now you dont see a thing, but instead all darkness will this make the thing disappear or become nonexistant? Its your brains analysis thats making you feel the thing and distinguish itself from the rest. As long as the brain doesnt analyse the existence of the thing there is no problem. But brain wont cease to analyse because its restless, once you give rest to the brain then you will see that (I) thing which is called I.

Almost similar type of question I put on A&Q but could not find proper answer, there were sily answers rather. Any way, as for as your question is concerned I believe , "The Creator Is The Seer of His creation". Further, I am intrested in brain signals, specially what differenciates b/w them. like hot and cold, seen and non seen, seen and unseen and felt and unfelt by our seleves. Also if we stop all signals flowing to and from brain then what state of living being it would be..?

I understand the question completely. The first answer up there will be flipping burgers her whole life. There is nothing weird about defining ones self, or questioning ones existance in the grand scheme of things. You are simply comparing your self to a vehicle and life support unit for your brain, which is what you actually feel that you are. You are your brain. I have considered this myself on occasion (usually after mass doses of recreational stimulants). However, there is one up there who IMHO answers perfectly. And it puts the question to rest for me as well. His answer is that "you" are the "sum" of the whole. You are not your brain. Your brain is the processing unit. Your eyes the cams, etc. But YOU are the sum of all that, and dare I say, even more. Because I believe we are products of omnipotent design, and there is much that we do not yet know, even about our selves. But for now, I believe the SUM answer ( by Sticky) is the more brilliant. Great question, BTW : )

If you are questioning your perception of reality, that is a good thing. Once, when I was having a problem with medication ( only prednisone, no illicit drugs) I was havng a lot of delusions. I discovered that the mind can create its own perception, not necessarily related to what I would normally see---but stuff I really wanted to see based upon my needs. I think the mind, and what it perceives, is not reality based. It is biased as to our beliefs and previous experience. Sorry, really cannot explain it better.

You are the collection of Your own experience. Something or someone You remember from the past interacts with the present... Your are the journey experience of Your body. No doubt there are things in life that do not make sense, that's because there are those who sometimes tell lies. I think Our instinct is to find the truths in our experiences... Good luck, and don't forget to share the truths You find.

You alone are the seer of whatever you look at.
Anyone else has a slightly different perspective.
It's a difficult question to supply a satisfactory answer.
It seems to me that the asker is probably more likely to come up with a satisfactory answer.

ENERGY. That oneness that connects every living thing in this universe. (keeping in mind that "all matter is energy condensed to a slow vibration") People use a million different names for that "I". The self, the soul, it really just depends who you ask. But most people are at least AWARE of it. How it really works and creates this amazing being full of power and emotion? That I can't tell you.

Did you consider you might not exist at all, but are a figment, perhaps of someone elses imagination? Not my belief, but I keep my mind open to any and all possibilities...

Kid, dont worry about it too much. You are the son of your parents. Through God, you were made in flesh. Your emotions come from the brain, yes. but who you are, is who you make your self out to be. Good, Bad, funny... ect.

i see what youre getting at. but really, i dont SEE you with my eyes, typing at your computer, but i understand it. i HEAR your point of view, not because you are speaking out loud as you type (which would be kinda weird) but i guess i agree with you. i FEEL that this is something people should pay more attention to, because from my own experience, and from reading previous answers to this question, people dont seem to question stuff like this enough. maybe they dont understand, or maybe they just dont care, but where is it going to get them if they dont know who they are???
