In the movie there is a quote, is it "smell the hummus", or " smell the homeless?"

It's smell of the Hummus. Which is really: Wake up and smell the hummus.
The quote happened when Aladdin and the Genie were at the palace. After wards, Genie told Aladdin to be him self, Aladdin told Genie that he can't, so Genie then told him that.
The scene of the quote might be wrong through.

I don't remember this happening in Aladdin, but judging by the fact that it is a children's movie, and that the story takes place where I believe hummus is eaten. I'm going to guess he said "Smell the hummus?" Although "smell the homeless" would be pretty interesting.

One of my favorite movies. The genie, Robin Williams, is telling himself to "wake up and smell the hummus" (a Persian take on "wake up and smell the coffee"). In other words, get real, nobody's going to wish me free. That movie can still bring tears to my eyes, on that magic carpet ride. It's too bad Abu is missing out on all this.
