According to Wikipedia, they are Alternative Rock.
For sure though, they are not emo. As well, they are certainly not hard enough to be metal.
No matter though...Amy Lee could sing polka and she would still entrance both the ears and eyes.....rawr.

There is nothing goth about them-except how they dress-and it is not really goth-it is mall goth.
They are not really metal either.
They are like Disney-rock
They are pop-maybe dark pop-nothing more.
I am not saying they suck-they are just not a metal or goth band.
