I need some honest answers for a research paper I'm doing. What exactly do you stand for? (examples: freedom, love, faith, etc.)

Great great! Wow, a good diversity: everything from "because I hate chairs", to "family".

The obnoxious answers can't be used in my paper, but they offer some amusement. Thank you to everyone who's actually helping!

Ok, now the kicker: Some people say America has turned from a complete Democracy, into a Facist Democracy (Closest term); for those who haven't researched the terms, Facism is a totalitarian state in which the society is run through corporations and big government. Democracy is a government run by elected individuals. A Facist Democracy would then be a state (or government) in which society is run by big government and corporations, and society itself is "tricked" into believing certain things, so that the people behind the government profit from it (not always monetary).

Thanks again! Keep answering the first question as well!

I guess I stand for freedom of expression, or speech. And a better government to stop all kinds of discrimination against any races, ethnicities, people with diferent sexual orientations. Its sad that society hasn't got a lot better than it was when we were fighting for civil rights. I mean after Sept. 11, people have started having hate towards some people with middle eastern descent, and that other countries are doing genocide, like in Darfur. There are many things I would like to stand for. For example, for people to get over the sex in GTA: San Andreas, and to stop cursing violent video games to their deaths. I think movies like Saw, or Chainsaw are alot worse. They frickin' torture people. Whats worse?

Love is the most important thing in the world. Without love there is nothing. It is a true shame that the English language has only one word for love: but all kinds are equally important. Love for friends, love for family, and romantic love.

I stand for FAMILY.

I stand for family because no matter what I will always have their backs and they will always have mine.

It doesn't matter if i was just in a huge fight with one of my sisters the second someone says something rude about them... or touches them...It's on.

Not because i consider myself a badass but because you mess with my family my adrenaline pumps and i feel like I can take on King Kong himself.

I stand for family because when it comes down to it...There all you have...

To me friends are considered family.

I stand for freedom, but it's been hard these day's ,ever since the Iraq war ,you cant not mention CRAP .
i cant not call the president by name .
cant not mention ,BOMB,bazooka,gun,pistol.
cant mention,,certain religions.
cant say a word to a flight attendant ,or you getting sued.
Cant call anyone by their sex preference.
cant smoke ,and most public spaces, second hand smoke is killing .
i guess I'm better off changing what i believe ,and say they told me to believe in LOVE .
I'm safer .
WE living on a CULT .we say what they wants us to say ,and not what we want or believe .

Myself. "In my mind, the law of the majority does not exist." I know what I believe and stand for. Think about what concepts you believe in...and are not bendable by others...and there you go. ; ) Hope this helps.

Treating and loving all people.
This holds true for all of our pets as well.
We love them all. They deserve to know it.

This is what I stand for in the world. Love and respect for all.
