Any Midwest Transplants miss the Midwest after moving to CA?

I grew up in Illinois, and when I joined the Air Force, I had my tech school in California. It was great there, but I missed having seasons. And nobody seemed to celebrate the 4th of July like back home. So yeah, I did miss it. I'm back in the midwest now (Ohio) and I wouldn't mind some California weather though!

I moved to GA and miss the midwest. I just miss the quietness and how uncrowded it was!!!!

No, but I live in Arizona and don't miss the Midwest AT ALL !!!

no but I left California and moved to vegas,God I miss living 7 blocks away from LA harbor,the people there no,the area yes
