Not to worry. You can't tear your hymen just by horseback riding. If nothing penetrated her then she's ok. She's probably just sore from riding. As far as the red spot she should have that checked out because it could be something else. Nothing too alarming though. Put your mind at ease, as long as she's continuting to ride an actual horse and nothing else, then her hymen is safe as well as her innocence.

Yes, the hymen can be broken from horseback riding. I've met some that have had it happen from riding a bike.

My hymen was broken when I had my first pelvic exam and pap smear when I was 18. It was broken by the dr when he used the regular sized instrument called a speculum.

I am still a virgin. As for the red spot that could have just been a bit of blood from when she broke it as some of the other posters said. But also check with the dr to make sure that it's just that and nothing more serious.

yes you are right, tearing the hymen can cause some tenderness and pain but doesn't last that long. There is also minimal blood, maybe some spotting but nothing too great to worry about. It is especially common during horseback riding, bike riding. etc.

It's entirely possible.

But the presence or absence of a hymen has nothing whatsoever to do with virginity. How can it if some baby girls are born without one?

You may both want to check these sites.

She probably did, and it's no biggie. I broke mine with a tampon at age 11. (Sorry, too much info but it's the facts) It's actually common to break it from horseback riding, so no worries. But, if she continues bleeding, she probably is starting her period, it's about that time. :)

You can DEFINETLY tear it from horseback riding. Don't worry about her unless the pain or bleeding persists.

Its sore. ANd if not taken care of can become infected. Get some anti bact cream and have her put it on. I would recommend not horse back riding for a couple of day till it heals. (Loose under and pants are also recommend.)

It's very common for girls to break their hymen in horseback riding. Verycommon indeed. had a friend who broke hers in martial arts. take her to the doctor to make sure it isn't anything else more serious.

She might be starting her Period most girls do at or around that age. Or it could happen during heavy sports activities not uncommon.
