Doesn't necessary have to be the overall percieved greatest nor who you have to have on your team, just who you like to see play and are or were a fan of.

G - Michael Jordan (without question the greatest ever)

G - Magic Johnson

C - Kareem Abdul Jabbar

F - Larry Bird

F - Dennis Rodman or Karl Malone (tough call)

I know that there were plenty of guys before the 80's that played, but these are the one's that I grew up watching. And no, Michael and the Bulls were the greatest ever. 72-10 doesn't lie. The only reason they didn't win their titles consecutively was that little baseball detour he took, for whatever reason.

nba?

PG-Steve Nash ( even though i hate him, and i think that he looks like a little boy playing, when he got a hair cut he looked like GI JANE, and the fact that everyone is already practically giving him the MVP, and that he's probably going to win it for the 3rd straight year( something that MJ never even accomplished)

SG-KOBE BRYANT (Best player in the game by far, yes better than your Lebron James, and yes even better than D-Wade. This is my fav player, who finally knows how to play TEAM BASKETBALL, he has the lakers in the 5th place in the western conference, in which 5th place in the west is like a 20 game lead for 1st place in the east.

SF-Shawn Marrion-(i hate the suns but, i mean they are really good, shawn is S.T.A.T a frekin' statistical freak, one of the ugliest shots in the nba(kevin martin) that actually goes in half the time.....puts up 20 and 10 or 11 a game

PF-Dirk Nowitzski( i have no idea how to spell his last name, he has one of the prettiest shots in the association, this season he's showing everyone that he can indeed score on the low-post, as well as shoot from mid-to-long range at a very effective rate, he's probably the hardest player in the nba at the power forward position to guard (sorry kg) this was by far the hardest position to decide.

C-Yao Ming-(you know that when your first name, instead of your last name, is on the back of your jersey, you should be pretty good, he's one of those one-named guys ( kobe, lebron, iverson, garnet, carmelo ect...) he's tall, young, and starting to get that physical "american" body, instead of the weak, no-muscle chineese body ( no offense) he's even, in my eyes, better than the "diesel" by far,

Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, Jerome Kersey, Buck Williams, and Arvidas Sobanis. Screw Michael and the bulls, this starting 5 would have won at least 5 consecutive titles.
