so tonights episode was intense!!!! i wish i knew what happens!! can meredith die, or is she too important to the show!? I dont think they can but I have heard other opinions that they could! also, does anyone think O'malley will break up with Callie after what Izzie said to him??? AAHH!!! I can't wait to next week!!!

Next on Grey's Anatomy:
They will continue with the ridiculous out of body experience as Meredith talks to two dead guys in the hospital like she knows she is in the hospital when she fell into a river and that is the last thing she remembers.
Meanwhile Mark and Derek are there in the hallway and like it or not Mark is still Derek's friend.
Christina is a basket case without her person and if Preston does not save Meredith she will never marry him.
Meanwhile there is still the little matter of Ellis, Meredith's mother who is the cause of all this. She is the one who told Meredith that she lost her way and should be further along in her career. Before that Meredith was happy. Derek proposed to her as forgettable a proposal as it may have been and yet Meredith ignored it swatting it away the way you would a fly. Ellis is due for Surgery with Preston as well and Meredith is her Power of Attorney. Can she wait until Meredith is conscious?
As for the O'Malley bombshell, it was in return for what George sid to his father about Denny and how Izzie was on probation for killing him. She is just returning the favor. He married Callie on impulse. It seems wrong to Izzie especially since Callie begged her to keep him away from her when he was oversexed. Izzie tried to talk him down but instead he told her he just wanted to feel good. He is using Callie as a cushion to break his fall, a replacement for the father he lost so recently. That is what is upsetting to Izzie.
I don't see Callie and George breaking up over this but a bigger storm is brewing on the horizon.
Meanwhile, Alex is putting the moves on Addison and she is about to give in. It is coming and soon.
An interesting thought is who is next of kin on Meredith, Thatcher or Richard? Who is her real father? She may need surgery and who gets to sign off on it? Could Ellis find out what is going on and go to her daughter?
Anything is possible.
And when this is over and Meredith comes to, will she have amnesia or will she have the good sense to accept Derek's lame athough binding proposal/
And will this happen before or after Christina gets to talk to her "person"?
I smell a double wedding. Preston gets George. Derek gets Mark.
Christina gets Callie. Meredith gets Izzie. And Richard gives the Brides away. It will be a big ol' Jewish Korean wedding for two.

Since the show is named for her character, I don't think they are ready to write her off yet. Granted the entire cast is great and if you lose one (even Mer.), the show could still hold it's own. I figure, they will give most of the cast a break for next week, and it will be Merideth contemplating life (as she always does) only it will be just her, Denny and the deceased bomb squad guy. Then she will come around and recover. It can all be explained, kind of as eternity can happen in the span of a single breath.
Of course, does McDreamy get any hotter than sitting there in his pain contemplating life without her.
As for O'Malley and his Callie, she's already kind of frustrated with him, so maybe Izzie's comments are just that. And he wont have to leave callie. And it isn't so much as Izzie doesn't like Callie as it is that she's worried about George rushing in and regretting later.
Of course, just my opinion

I hope that Meredith will not die because I think that her and McDreamy make the show. I think that Callie may break up with O'Mally if she finds out what Izzie said. But, sadly we will not know until next week.

i know, i am wondering the same thing. I can't believe izzie said that to o'malley, she's getting a bit cockey!!! I doubt they'll get rid of Meredith, but wouldn't that be quite the show shocker, i too can't wait until next week.......
p.s. i wouldn't mind being the shoulder for McDreamy to cry on.... :)

I can't wait either! I think that Alex or George is the one who really dies. Mer will be back next week. I hope! I cried so much, harder when Derek was shown. I wan to comfort him. I like how everyone showed their soft side even Mark

She can't die. It's Grey's Anatomy, she's the main character. They couldn't call it Grey's Anatomy if Grey died.
