Just stay in the class, avoid the teacher, and copy off the smart kid next to you.

well do you HAVE to take Spanish 2? I know when I was in high school it was a requirement to have at least a year of foreign language and Spanish was all we had. Can you choose to take another language course if you have one? is there another teacher that teaches Spanish 2? if so just tell the counselor flat out that you are having trouble learning from this teacher or you just dont feel happy about that class. seeing as you are a good student with a good GPA the counselor might fill your request.

I think the best thing to do would be to talk to the conseller. If you're not doing well - then it's the teacher's fault. And if things aren't getting better then you'll fail the year. Talk to the couseller and maybe see if you could switch classes or start learning a new language instead,

this is the advice my mother always told me and believe it or not it works more than it doesn't. Kill them with kindess. Say yes sir, no sir, ask itelligent questions in front of the class and then tell him that you have really learned a lot since being in his class but want to do do better and what sugguestions might he offer for you to improve your grade. As you say it is probably too late for you to change and you can't change him, but you can change your attitude about it. You might even end up liking him. Ask him if he has kids, how did he learn spanish you know. . . . . . . .BROWN NOSE. LOL

If you say something like I'm going to end up hitting this teacher, they will put you out of the class and into a different one.

don't tell the counselor that you hate the teacher, instead tell him/her that you are doing poorly in the class and that you don't think that you will be able to pass the course and that you don't want it to adversely affect your GPA. that will get you out of the class. and it may still be soon enough to withdraw without penalty, and if you are lucky, you can get into another class.

A good student can get along well with any professor/teacher.. just do your homeworks and be good in his class.. don't take it personally on hating the teacher unless he does something bad to you.. good luck!! =)

Just tell him that the class isn't doing anything for you, and that you'd like to keep your GPA high because you'll be applying to universities pretty soon and every little bit counts.

the fastest way, and sometimes the only way, is to get your parents involved. They will probably have to call the counselor and tell her/him that they want you out of the class as soon as possible. They can say almost anything.... but it will have much more effect if they do it for you.... i hate to say that but it's true.

Pretend you like the teacher and the class and maybe you'll get a brownie points for playing along.
